In Part 2 of ‘Life in the Venezuelan jungle’ Jobie describes a close in counter with dangerous gold prospectors, how the Yanomami people hunt at night when facing the dangers and challenges of the jungle predators and we talk about why he hasn’t gone back in spite of the impact it made on his life. Jobie and Abigail move on to touch on the subject of parenting and how much that responsibility affects what passions we pursue in life when there is more to take into consideration than our own desires.

In this episode i Jobie share my reflection on how tech and "phones" especially have infiltrated us and our families in a more negative that positive way. If your a parent you'll probably relate to the struggle as we try to navigate the addictive nature of theses devices in the hands of our kids, I share some personal testimony on how just this week I felt pulled hard into the smart phone black hole and in reflection see the need for boundaries to be in place. I honestly feel that they've brought more negatives than positives into our world in the form of isolation, anxiety and much more., and they call it progress .....!

In the first podcast together. Jobie and Abigail introduce discuss challenges they are facing as small business owners and how much the economy and life situations have impacted them.
