Dems Still in Disarray, Will Two More Weeks Land a Nuke Deal? The Damage AI Is Already Doing
Épisode 3694
vendredi 20 juin 2025 • Durée 30:41
First, they pop the popcorn as Democrats are openly venting about Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin's weak leadership and how the party still resembles a circular firing squad long after President Trump's win in November. Polling also shows intense disapproval among Democrats for party leaders overall.
Next, as President Trump gives Iran two weeks to make a concrete deal to give up its nuclear program, Jim examines whether there's any real expectation that Iran would ever agree to something the U.S. would find acceptable. They also discuss Iran's use of more sophisticated missiles in attacking Israel and how the Iron Dome is having a tougher time taking them out.
Finally, they shudder at the negative impact artificial intelligence is having on our lives. An MIT study of ChatGPT on 54 student brains over four months shows a significant drop in neural connectivity or brain processing power. They also highlight how people are developing intense personal "relationships" with their AI at the cost of developing bonds with actual human beings.

Mossad’s Masterful Bunker Trap, Trump Still Pursuing Nuke Deal, Dems' Amnesty Delusion
Épisode 3693
jeudi 19 juin 2025 • Durée 25:07
First, they break down how Israel’s Mossad cleverly exploited Iranian communications to lure top commanders into the same bunker and then made that the first target of the bombing campaign. Jim and Greg can’t help but limagine the generals questioning who called the meeting moments before the explosion. Jim says this also confirms his long-standing loathing of in-person meetings.
Next, they react to President Trump and U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff trying the diplomatic route one more time to get Iran to abandon it's nuclear weapons ambitions. Jim has been less than impressed with Witkoff's performance in the Middle East and Russia so far. He also says it's clear Trump is doing everything he can to avoid a full-scale war with Iran.
Finally, they react to Rep. Frost’s openly radical proposal to solve illegal immigration by simply granting amnesty and citizenship to everyone here unlawfully. Jim and Greg dissect the political and national security consequences, with Jim arguing this reflects Democrats’ ongoing delusion that Americans support their policies but just need them explained better.
Finally, they cringe at the absurd but honest call from Rep. Frost to end the problem of illegal immigrants by quickly legalizing them and making them citizens. Amnesty would not only reward the existing lawbreakers but attract many more people to come here illegally. Jim says this is also evidence that many Dems convinced themselves of the delusion that Americans really do love their policies and they only need to communicate them better.

Trump vs. Musk, Keeping the Spotlight on China, Biden & the Autopen
Épisode 3684
vendredi 6 juin 2025 • Durée 28:07
First, they take you step-by step through the quick disintegration of the Donald Trump-Elon Musk friendship: from Musk calling the siganture GOP legislation a "disgusting abomination" to Trump calling Elon crazy and threatening to void his government contracts to Elon saying Trump is in the Epstein report and agreeing that Trump should be impeached. Jim says they both have valid points concerning the legislation but suspects the overall impact of this fight will be bad for conservatives.
Next, they're stunned to find a few House Democrats actually focusing on something that deserves attention. New York Rep. Ritchie Torres and several of his colleagues are asking Homeland Security and the Director of National Intelligence for an update on their investigations into China's sinister cyber terrorism in the Volt Typhoon and Typhoon Salt attacks. There's no evidence the Trump administration isn't investigating these attacks, but it's always good to keep keep a very close eye on China.
Finally, they examine the investigation into the Biden administration using the autopen to sign pardons, executive orders, and more. While it's likely Biden misunderstood or forgot much of what he signed, and possible things were signed in his name, they suspect it's going to be hard to prove that things were enacted without his consent - unless the Biden staffers start revealing more as their infighting gets more intense.

DNC Debate Disaster, The Potomac Crash Blame Game, Gabbard on the Hot Seat
Épisode 3594
vendredi 31 janvier 2025 • Durée 29:13
First, they analyze the delightfully disastrous DNC chairman debate, where every candidate seems to have missed the lessons of the 2024 election. Each candidate for DNC chairman agreed that racism and misogyny were key factors in Kamala Harris losing the election. If that weren't enough, the forum was also repeatedly interrupted by demonstrators accusing Democrats of being too cozy with Big Oil.
Next, they discuss the immediate blame game following the tragic midair collision between a regional airliner and a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter. Jim and Greg express frustration as both sides of the aisle politicize the disaster—Democrats blame Trump for firing the head of TSA and other officials, while Trump points to Biden-era DEI policies at the FAA. Jim and Greg agree that prioritizing DEI for those positions is dangerous but wonder why Trump was pushing that issue right away without public evidence that it was a factor in this case.
Finally, they examine Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation hearing for Director of National Intelligence. Jim highlights her recent shift on several key issues, ranging from Trump's strike on Soleimani to Edward Snowden. However, they agree that significant changes are necessary in U.S. intelligence leadership after years of partisanship and disinformation, particularly from figures like James Clapper and John Brennan.
Tragedy Over the Potomac, Trump Boosts School Choice, Detroit Mayor Finds the Right Enemies
Épisode 3593
jeudi 30 janvier 2025 • Durée 25:40
First, they discuss the deadly crash between a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter and a commercial airliner near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Tragically, all 64 passengers and crew aboard the plane, as well as all three soldiers on the helicopter, lost their lives. Scot and Greg explore the details of the disaster, try to resist jumping to conclusions, and reflect on the bravery of the first responders who worked tirelessly in search of survivors.
Next, they dive into President Trump’s newly signed executive order aimed at expanding school choice across the nation. This executive order directs various cabinet departments to provide grants to states, empowering parents with the financial means to send their children to schools of their choice. Scot and Greg discuss how this order increases educational freedom for families but also whether this movement might come with some unintended consequences.
Finally, Scot and Greg consider Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan’s response to attacks from far-left groups over his use of the term "illegal immigrants." Duggan, who says he welcomes immigrants while cooperating with federal authorities on illegal immigration enforcement, is defending his words and actions. Duggan is also running as an independent for Governor of Michigan in 2026, and Scot says this absurd criticism can only help Duggan's campaign.
Leavitt's Strong Start, Sabotaging Trump’s Orders, California Dems Seek a Scapegoat
Épisode 3592
mercredi 29 janvier 2025 • Durée 20:14
First, they praise new White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt for her polished performance, sharp policy explanations, and ability to spar with reporters without heavy reliance on notes—offering a sharp contrast to Karine Jean-Pierre. Jim and Greg also highlight how many in the press corps immediately shift from lapdogs to pit bulls when a Republican administration comes in.
Next, they expose how left-wing bureaucrats intentionally misinterpret Trump’s executive orders to generate bad press or force policy reversals. Examples include the U.S. Air Force claiming it would stop teaching about the Tuskegee Airmen due to Trump's DEI directives and the confusion over the federal spending freeze.
Finally, they analyze California Democrats’ push to let residents sue energy companies for damages from natural disasters, blaming fossil fuels for climate change. Jim explains why this legislation is more about political scapegoating than addressing the root causes of disasters.
Michigan's Looming Senate Battle, Deep Panic Over DeepSeek, Will AI 'Reconfigure' Society?
Épisode 3591
mardi 28 janvier 2025 • Durée 22:14
First, they break down the implications of Michigan Senator Gary Peters' decision not to seek re-election in 2026. With Republicans narrowly missing a Senate seat there last cycle, could this be their best shot at a pickup in decades? Jim and Greg explore the political landscape and speculate on potential contenders for the open seat.
Next, they scrutinize DeepSeek, a Chinese-linked artificial intelligence reportedly more advanced than U.S.-developed AI. Jim questions the company's claims about its development timeline and costs, while both hosts express frustration over Americans willingly embracing more Chinese-made tech that could compromise privacy and security.
Finally, they react to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's provocative assertion that artificial intelligence may lead to significant societal restructuring. While they acknowledge the transformative power of technological breakthroughs, Jim and Greg can’t help but roll their eyes at the dramatic, Bond villain-esque rhetoric surrounding AI's potential influence.
Colombia Caves on Illegals, CIA Points to COVID Lab Leak, Trump Won't Let Bass Off the Hook
Épisode 3590
lundi 27 janvier 2025 • Durée 24:41
First, Jim and Greg recap the short-lived trade war with Colombia. Tensions flared when Colombia’s president initially refused to allow repatriation flights carrying criminal illegals to land in the country. In response, President Trump swiftly threatened major tariffs and other diplomatic penalties. Colombia quickly reversed course, agreeing to Trump’s demands and allowing the flights to proceed.
Next, Jim celebrates the CIA’s acknowledgment of what many had suspected all along: that the most likely cause of the COVID-19 pandemic was a lab leak from Wuhan, China. Most of us have known this for a long time, but the Biden-era CIA infamously decided it was unclear how it all started. But that doesn't mean this is over. Jim says these new conclusions should lead to important new questions.
Finally, Jim and Greg discuss Trump’s recent call for faster action to help Los Angeles-area residents who lost their homes in wildfires. During a public forum with LA Mayor Karen Bass, Trump urged local officials to streamline bureaucracy, allowing fire victims to access their property and begin debris removal to make way for rebuilding.
Deportations Ramping Up, An AI Surveillance State? Obama's Democracy Demagoguery
Épisode 3589
vendredi 24 janvier 2025 • Durée 19:14
First, Jim and Greg express their approval of the Trump administration's swift action to apprehend and deport more than a thousand criminal illegals, with deportation flights already underway. They emphasize the importance of political leaders addressing issues head-on rather than just running on them.
Next, they react to Oracle founder Larry Ellison’s disturbing suggestion that a nationwide surveillance system will soon track police and civilians through cameras everywhere, supposedly keeping everyone on their best behavior through AI monitoring. Jim and Greg strongly prefer letting Americans retain the freedoms they still have. Ellison also visited the White House recently for the announcement of a $500 billion AI infrastructure project, leading to public backlash from Elon Musk. Jim analyzes the potential impact on the Trump-Musk relationship.
Finally, Jim and Greg groan as Barack Obama addresses the Democracy Forum, complaining about voters not prioritizing democracy in the 2024 election. Obama implies that the left should focus on getting more people to agree with him, rather than engaging in self-reflection. It's an arrogance that's unlikely to win him many new friends.
Cabinet Confirmation Conflict, Trump Brands Houthis Terrorists Again, Brennan's Laptop Lies
Épisode 3588
jeudi 23 janvier 2025 • Durée 20:33
First, Jim and Greg commend Senate Republicans for standing firm against Democratic attempts to delay the confirmation of President Trump’s cabinet nominees. With Democrats blocking quick consideration on the Senate floor, they may find themselves stuck in Washington over the weekend when the final votes take place.
Next, they cheer President Trump’s decision to reclassify the Iran-backed Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization. After Joe Biden removed the Houthis from the list upon taking office, he later imposed much lighter sanctions on the group. This move was widely viewed as an attempt to appease Iran, even as the Houthis continued to create chaos for shipping in the Red Sea and throughout the region.
Finally, they get a good laugh as former CIA Director John Brennan whines to MSNBC about Trump rescinding his security clearance. Brennan, along with dozens of others, falsely claimed in 2020 that the Hunter Biden laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Now, he tries to backpedal, claiming he never said it was disinformation, but rather a “Russian information operation.” Jim and Greg are having none of it.
