Laura Tremaine has 10 Things To Tell You. And YOU have 10 Things To Tell. This is a show about sharing your stuff and connecting to yourself and others in these outrageous times.
Ep 260: How To Backup and Digitize All Your Old Sentimental Photos (with Miss Freddy)
Épisode 260
jeudi 13 mars 2025 • Durée 53:11
Professional photo organizer Casey von Stein (aka Miss Freddy) is BACK and this time she's helping us handle all those old, sentimental photos we all have stuffed in boxes in a closet somewhere.
Miss Freddy is answering my questions on how to make the physical photos into digital files and then how to organize and back them up online so we never have to worry they'll be lost or damaged in the future. She also says something to me about the 30,000 photos I have stored on my phone that might have just changed my life.
Ep 259: 10 Questions for the Anniversary of a Big Event
Épisode 259
jeudi 6 mars 2025 • Durée 49:57
This month marks 5 years still the Covid-19 pandemic turned our lives upside down.
In this episode, I'm sharing 10 questions that can be used as journal prompts or conversation starters on the anniversary of any big event.
I'm focusing my answers to these prompts on the five-year mark of the pandemic, but each question is crafted to be universal for any big event in your past.
It's the reading episode we look forward to all year! My real life book club members Yasmin Dunn and Stephanie Newman-Smith join me for a supersized conversation about the best books we read in 2024.
Since Stephanie, Yasmin, and I did a half-year Best Books episode together during the summer, we only gloss over a few of the books we discussed in depth in June. You can see the show notes from Ep 224: Best Books of the Year (So Far).
Also an EXTENDED CUT of this episode and the BONUS episode where the three of us share books that didn't work for us this year (including a big surprise from me) is available for paid members SECRET STUFF (now on Substack!)
This episode is for the therapy-curious and therapy champions.
Ten years ago this summer, I was in one of the lowest points of my life. I had a toddler and a baby, was grieving the death of a loved one, the diagnosis of another loved one, and the near-fatal crisis of yet another loved one. My husband was away making a movie, so I was solo parenting and circumstantially very isolated during a rainy season that had flooded our home.
And also....I had just started therapy for the first time.
I needed the therapy. Making that phone call was one of the best decisions I've ever made. But as many people will tell you: it often gets (a lot) worse before it gets better.
In this episode, I'm sharing 10 Things About Therapy that I've learned or noticed or want to share after 10 years of being on this journey.
There are practical tips and also my personal stories. This is completely my own experience and not meant to be prescriptive or authoritative - just me, sharing my stuff.
Kevin Miller is a former pro athlete, respected personal development guide, top-ranking podcast host, published author, and father of nine who has devoted himself to helping people elevate their personal experience and improve the way they show up for others.
One of the things I've been working on personally this summer is examining and resetting some of the systems in my life, mostly professionally related, but also personally. This book and this conversation came at the perfect time. Identifying what motivates you can be such a key to your success.
I have so many Favorite Things to share with you from this summer. Remember that we share favorite things every few months as an exercise in gratitude but also because it's a fun and low stakes way to share ourselves. What we're into at any given moment is a reflection of our tastes and interests.
BONUS: Remaining You While Raising Them with Alli Worthington
vendredi 4 août 2023 • Durée 46:11
I met author Alli Worthington over a decade ago when we were both in the mommy blogging world, and I've long looked up to her as an entreprenuer and innovator in the online space. And while I was a mommy blogger back then who didn't write much about motherhood, Alli was creating conferences, writing books, and raising FIVE boys and a stepdaughter.
So of course with that kind of expertise, I am excited to share this conversation about motherhood that's aimed at the MOTHER. Alli's latest book Remaining You While Raising Them is the opposite of an instruction manual for parenting, which is what makes it so refreshing.
In this episode, Alli and I talk about mom guilt, real self care, and the different ways social media and the likes can make us feel like we’re not measuring up. We also talk about our identities as mothers, the magic question Alli wants women to get in the habit of asking themselves, and why it’s important to allow our kids to see us get angry sometimes.
Alli Worthington is known for her straight-talking encouragement and practical tools that help women reach their dreams in business and life. She is a speaker, podcaster, author, and life and business coach who launched Called Creatives, a cohort of women speakers and writers. Alli lives with her husband, Mark, and their five sons outside of Nashville with the only golden retriever who refuses to retrieve.

As we near the 200th episode of 10 Things To Tell You, we're using this summer to pull a few episodes out of the archives from the first year of the show.
August feels like the second "new year" on the calendar. Even if you're no longer super aware of the school calendar as a student, parent, or teacher, it still feels like a fresh start after the summer and heading into the last half of the year.
This episode is for you if you’re thinking about setting intentions, starting affirmations, and creating a vision board for the new year. In this replay episode from the end of 2019, I’m sharing my experience with setting intentions, writing down affirmations, and creating a vision board for the future.
Let me be clear that I am no expert on any of these things, but I do believe that something goes on in your consciousness when you stay open to receiving what the world has to offer (instead of closing yourself off from anything you don’t understand), and by putting in place a few practices that might positively affect your mood, spirit, and actions.

This episode is for you if you're interested in general mindfulness for personal growth.
The things we avoid are the things that can be teaching us something. I'm talking about the topics and people who give me a little twinge that I should pay attention to, both in real life and on social media.
